A Season of Gratitude

As we reflect on the past year, our hearts are full of gratitude for the many blessings that have helped Do Unto Others Assistance Dogs grow, thrive, and continue pursuing our mission of empowering independence. Every step forward has been made possible by the extraordinary individuals and communities that surround us, support us, and believe in what we do.

Gratitude for Those Who Help Us Begin With Strong Foundations

We offer our deepest thanks to the breeders who have entrusted us with exceptional puppies—dogs who will one day stand beside individuals with disabilities as devoted, skilled partners. Their commitment to healthy, sound, well-tempered pups gives us the best possible start on each team’s journey.

We are also profoundly grateful for the generous donors who sustain our work. Special thanks go to Terry Siegel, The Richards Family Trust, and the many others whose financial support has made training, care, and program expansion possible. Your kindness fuels everything we do.

Honoring Our Puppy Raisers

To our dedicated volunteer puppy raisers: thank you for opening your homes and hearts. You pour time, patience, and love into shaping young pups into confident, capable future assistance dogs. The foundation you build makes every success story possible, and we are endlessly grateful.

Grateful for Our Board of Directors

We are blessed with an engaged, thoughtful, and mission-driven Board of Directors who guide and strengthen our organization. Our sincere thanks to:

  • Nancy Janus, Chairperson
  • Mike DeStefano, Vice Chair
  • Jeff Kunkel, Treasurer
  • Megan Betche, Secretary
  • Curtis Reddecliff, Director
  • Krystal Neville, Director
  • Tim Ebright, Director

Your leadership and support ensure that Do Unto Others Assistance Dogs continues on a steady and purposeful path.

Thankful for the Many Hands Who Keep Us Moving Forward

We also extend heartfelt thanks to our many other volunteers whose gifts of time, talent, and creativity play vital roles—whether providing food for events, crafting our vests, bandanas, collars, and leashes, or offering expertise behind the scenes. Every contribution helps build the strong, welcoming D.U.O. community we cherish.

And finally, to all who support us through prayer, encouragement, and shared belief in our mission: thank you. Your uplifting presence keeps us centered, grounded, and focused on the right path forward.

As we look ahead with gratitude, may each and every one of you have a blessed Thanksgiving. May health, happiness, friends, and family surround you today and always.

Together—with dedicated partners, generous hearts, and God’s guiding hand—we are making a difference, one dog and one life at a time.
